Developments & Daiquiris – Annual Super User Forum

Our annual Super User Forum stands out as one of the most anticipated events of the year, and this year was nothing short of spectacular! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who generously dedicated their valuable time to join us at the ONE Tech Hub on 23rd November 2023. Your active participation and invaluable feedback were instrumental in elevating the Onboard Tracker™ system to new heights.

Under the theme ‘Developments & Daiquiris,’ the event provided a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the latest functionalities of the Onboard Tracker™ software. Not only did our expert team present cutting-edge features, but we also had the privilege of hearing insights from some of our esteemed clients. Beyond the informative sessions, the forum played a pivotal role in shaping the collaborative product roadmap, ensuring that Onboard Tracker™ continues to reign as the premier Crew Management platform for Operators and SMEs in the Energy, Marine, and Renewables sectors.

This third edition of the series brought together a dynamic community of Onboard Tracker™ users who shared invaluable insights, innovative ideas, and success stories, showcasing how the system has streamlined organisational processes. A special note of appreciation goes to Maggie Braid from Harbour Energy and Gareth Jones from UTEC Survey for sharing inspiring stories about the transformative impact of a successful Crew Management System rollout on workforce engagement, data governance, and operational cost savings.

The Onboard Tracker™ Team unveiled a series of noteworthy enhancements. Vicky Andrew kicked off the presentations by introducing the ‘Competence Quiz’ feature, revolutionising the assessment process with an interactive multiple-choice quiz format. Tanya Harley followed with improvements to the Training Booking Module, including the significant functionality of archiving unnecessary training or certifications, streamlining record-keeping without inundating users with expiring notifications.

Louise Anderson presented the new tax certification matrix designed for refined searches, allowing for the seamless assignment of tax sectors to jobs and sites. Rachael Pacey highlighted the customisation of the software experience, showcasing users’ ability to personalise widgets and dashboards on their home screen. Onboard Tracker™, a vital tool for planning and scheduling, received additional functionality, including the ability to highlight movements such as holidays and absences for comprehensive availability overviews.

Emily Reid led a product roadmap session, providing updates on client-voted items and detailing progress made in the last 12 months on modules like POB and Flight Logistics. Power BI Developer, Stephen Burrows, introduced improvements to a host of our standard reports, available to everyone with the Power BI Module.

The event concluded with a grand unveiling by Tanya Harley and Graeme Miller of the ‘Flight Logistics’ module, allowing for comprehensive management of flight schedules and enhanced personnel safety and seat utilisation.

A massive thank you to ONE Tech Hub for graciously hosting us, ByPlatter for catering, Orchid for supplying customised cocktails, and to all our clients who contributed to making the day an outstanding success. As we eagerly look ahead to 2024, we anticipate more exciting projects, enhanced functionality, additional rollouts, and sustained growth – bring it on!
